Tech Support
Dad called from Shreveport today, it seems ZoneAlarm v6 was not allowing IE to access the world wide web. One thing I absolutely hate is helping people trouble shoot over the phone, especially when it involves computers. A 5 minute fix can take hours to solve; only because the other side doesn’t know what to look for.
Worst yet, Chaz called during this tech support session - a friend whom I haven’t spoken to in nearly a year! Shit! Of all the times to called, he calls now. I felt like garbage telling him to call back later, but I would have felt worst if I told Dad to piss off.
Chaz…call back damn it!!! (Sunday nights are the best time)
After 2 hours of imagining what he was seeing, I couldn’t solve his problem; but at least he is able to access the world wide web and email.
Now…if we can just sell the house…..
Take intermission at the movies
Freeze outside for one quick smoke
Take a klondike bar from the pop machine
Hey it's ice cream, no not coke
