I didn't want to post about this until I was really sure, but I have some exciting employment news:
I officially have what I believe is at least approaching a real job! The Medford Vocational High School has officially hired me on as their permanent substitute. It pays more than the crappy per diem thing I had been doing, and it even has BENEFITS!
No more COBRA payments for me!
So as of Monday when I go in to sign my paperwork, I will be an official employee of the Medford Public School system. Like, for real. :-)
This will, among other things, mean that I will once again have halfway decent posts that don't involve Writer's Blocks.
