this was beautiful & heartbreaking & I love, at least for me,that its never clear whether this is Fernando or Sergio's dream, or maybe its both of theirs. I really liked the flow of the dream, one scene fading & blending into the next, each as important as the one before.

Lovely, really lovely.

thank you! but yeah i figured i'd leave that one up to the reader to decide if it was one or both, since it would massively ruin the flow if i tried to get into like... magic dream sharing trinkets or long distance inceptiony things. but i'm glad you liked it and thank you for reading <3

Ah, I love dream fics! And I love this, although the end's hearbreaking.
You know, when I read your fics I end up feeling like my heart has been wrung dry, but that's OK! That means I like your fic because it makes me feel! :-)

Oh god. Why is it that you always write stories that have been stuck in my head? I've imagined this before, right in that moment you're in bed with your eyes closed and trying to go to sleep. This is one of the scenarios that I have had in my head.

oh oh, this is beautiful. i love the ambiguity of whose dream it is and i love how the shifts are so seamless. the ending hurt so much and i love that there is a distinct sense of time in it despite it being a dream- that they don't have time to linger etc makes the ending imminent but no less tragic for knowing it was coming.
