I'm not sure how closely everyone else is following this, but I'm thrilled. The privacy concerns don't bother me -- you're foolish if you're keeping highly confidential information on a free public email system. The storage is nice, but I'll probably be a light user in the respect. The thing that clenches the deal for me is the cleanliness. The ( Read more... )

Anyone who doesn't take a GMail account is a fat stupidhead. Offering all that for free, I'm surprised they don't want a copy of my genome (which I'd probably let them have). Webmail isn't for secret correspondence, anyway. If you absolutely have to use it to send your financial secrets, use an encyption tool.

Really the only thing I see going for Gmail is the 1 gig transfer. And other sites offer better deals.

I'm not much for webmail solutions anyway. Meh. Pass.

Even better, I'll bet when you click on a URL from an email, it doesn't open it in an annoying frame... (cough hotmaill)
