greetings from columbia
Hey there!!! I'm here at Columbia (the university, not the country in South America where they have tons of cocaine...and coffee, can't forget the coffee...) and updating from my dorm while my suitemate dances to the All-American Rejects song coming out of my computer. Yay for CD drives!
Things are going pretty well. Today, I went shopping with Bianca and Ayaka in the midtown area. Bianca got those shirts she wanted from Urban Outfitters on 72nd and B'way because she finally got her credit card to work. We window shopped on Amsterdam and eventually got soft pretzels on the street, which we ate in the nearby Barnes & Noble. And we also went into Tower Records, where Bianca walked around like an idiot listening to all the samples in every aisle. Heh...what am I gonna do with her...
And otherwise, nothing much happened today. My parents and The Duke (a.k.a. my second cousin Brad) are coming to pick me up tomorrow so we can chill all day. That'll be fun.
Oh yeah, and I have to write a play for my class. Eesh, that's gonna be tricky. I've never written a play before. The kids in my class said that I should turn my short story into a play, though, because the dialogue is good, so I guess that's what I'm doing. Alrighty then, I s'pose I'll manage then.
Uh............................
I'm bored so I'm gonna go now.
