So, in other news... I had 10 things lined up on a todo list including making with emails for forward motion on projects... and I have shaved that in half - I am NINJA!
I need to locate some of my old things - location check 1 = fail. However, there's still 2 & 3 before I worry. Last night was needed and timely even.
I have flight plans to Caid at the end of the month - thus CP prize here I come!
Highlands - I am back to being talked out of it... After flipflopflipfloppyness... and still not sure of the flip or the flop.
Tea is goodness.
Food / supplement info is also goodness - makes for better planning.
Today I hope to make it to moms for searching, hospital for visting 2 folks (or the non-coworker if it comes to choices, the coworker is doing well), perhaps practice and then across town.
Also, there is a foul rumor that I am getting booted from my cube. This is bad. I R territorial bitch. I see it's a nice desk, you can chew on it - it's got NO storage. No wall/vertical display space for the bajillion lists and notices I maintain - unless you're standing ON me to see them. Less than 1/4 the lockable area. AND it's out in the open for every distraction and every phone call WILL be the business of EVERYONE. Can we say not a good plan? Also, if you move me to the next bay of open "pretty" desk over, can we say my stuff won't fit in your shiny nice desk area in a shiny nice way? Have you met Compliance or Doc. Control or Contract Review? It would be like putting OkieRednecks in the polished marble palace - not a good idea!
So, lets talk about the old HR office that's so small half our peeps can't physically go INTO it - with it's handy locking door - where I can concentrate without disturbing those who walk past me every 5 seconds.
See, didn't you have such a great idea? (I'll get to talk to She who Generally Manages on Thursday about this apparently)
Or what about sticking me out at a desk in the now empty warehouse? Really I'd LOVE that over the fucking "pretty" desk. REALLY, don't condem me to workspace hell, you'll be upset with the productivity results.
If you're looking to clear peeps out of the cubes - how about moving 'Toad' the engineer who can't keep office hours and can't get tasks done to the 4 desk pod with all the other engineers - front and center - as they won't put up with his whining about his life on the phone by the hour...
