I'm game!

I decided to finish the Dillinger hidden objects game today. I have to say it's a pretty elementary level game when it comes to the actual play, even though the subject matter is mature. A lot of it is downright dumb (don't get me started about spending three whole minutes guarding a doorway to keep bank customers from getting away), but the ( Read more... )

I think that game was HYSTERICAL (especially the slashy ending). I can't BELIEVE you played the whole thing over again so you could do screencaps -- go YOU.

I love how they make everyone in the game look like the real thing. Personally, I think the game version of Melvin Purvis looks more like Christian Bale than the real Melvin, though. (grin)

I can't believe how our lives seem FULL of "Public Enemies" related stuff right now. It just kills me. Not literally, though! (heh)

I agree, that Melvin is a little Christian clone. Funny how they based Dillinger on a photo of him, though.

I still think this game was one of the funny quirks of this summer . . . finding it by accident and playing it. I'm making myself some Amazing Heists icons!

*scratches head*

I have to ask where you found this and also admit that I'm more than a little confused.

And I agree with charliemc about Purvis, hehe!

Oh, good point. I edited the entry to include the link to SpinTop Games, where I found it this summer 'by accident' while I was searching for new hidden object games. I'm obsessed with those (just finished the latest James Patterson Women's Murder Club last week).

I just screencapped scenes from the game, because I thought they were funny (especially the "compusions" thing). I did enjoy all the characters and their interactions, which do show a higher level of sophistication than most of these games (except for the Women's Murder Club stuff, which is on a level all its own).

It's kinda eerie when suddenly you go from seeing everything through the eyes of the criminals to reading about how Dillinger was shot down outside the Biograph. But we PE fans are used to that . . .

Yep, the slash possibilities are definitely there with that dialogue! LOL!

Crazy, eh? Well, the dialogue is real, even if I put it out of order a bit, hehe.

The first line sounds like a Mae West classic. ;)
