Since no one cares much whether you write or not, and since you just have to do it.... then what's wrong with writing something that an agent says they want to see? well, for one, if you are slow, there will be a TREMENDOUS amount of that idea already out there by the time you are finished, for another, you cannot really force ideas that way.
