Magnus had decided to wander through town to see what was built. He was surprised to hear someone laughing, and surprised more to see it was Wanda. He walked over, trying to judge what she was laughing at. The movie, perhaps? "Wanda?"

At the sound of her name she turned to see who was talking to her. "Oh, hi papa."

Wanda wiped her eyes and tried her best to catch her breath. "This-" she pointed to the poster over her shoulder, "Is one of the guys on my team, Tony Stark. I never thought someone would make a movie about him. I've got to go see it so that when I see Tony I can tell him all about it."

She paused for a moment, "On second thought, I'll only tell him about it if it's even remotely like him. That'll make him crazy."

He read the poster. "I've heard the name." It faint disturbed him, this multi-universes as entertainment. And yet, he was curious about it.

"Mind if I join you? You'll have to tell me what they have gotten right. Or very wrong."

Wanda opened her purse and fetched out a tissue and wiped her eyes and nose with it. She reached over and linked her arm through his, "Sure! My treat. The last movie we went to go see together in my world was Schindler's List. This should be a bit lighter. My treat!"

He chuckled, taking her arm. "Are you sure? I'm the one who has the job around here." He paused thinking that one over. The movie hadn't been out that long in his world, although he'd seen it. "Whose idea was that?"

With a chuckle and an impish grin she waved it off, "Nah, it's his money anyway. I am so using my Avengers Visa for this. It's a moral obligation. This would be an awesome MasterCard commercial. It's a shame my card isn't a MasterCard."

"Whose idea was it to place this here? I guess whoever owns the theater. Maybe they thought with all the superheros running around here lately that they'd enjoy it. I've just seen the standard stuff like Superman and Batman. I've never seen one about someone I know." They had talked about making an Avengers movie but she was guessing it would probably be a lot different than this looked to be. God she wished Pepper were here, she would so laugh her butt off.

He chuckled. "I completely approve of this idea, in that case."

He listened to her, and suppressed another chuckle. "No, I meant whose idea was it to see Schindler's List. I've seen it, but I don't think my children have." Actually, the thought of Pietro trying to sit through a movie amused him.

"Oh! Sorry. Uh, uncle Charles actually. He really, really hates going to movies by himself and I just happened to be there at the time so I tagged along." She had cried her eyes out at the end. She really hoped she wouldn't be doing that for this movie unless it was in laughter.

That sounded like Charles. "Ah. Makes sense. Who went? You three?" He lead her inside, looking for the ticket counter. "Having seen superhero movies, how are they generally?"

"I get the feeling it's been awhile since you've been to a movie. Well, to a certain extent, they are pretty formulaic. Doesn't matter whether it's Indiana Jones, Superman, Batman, or even Rocky. The hero is going along in their regular every day life, some insurmountable foe or evil arises. They overcome the impossible to win the day, save the girl, save the world, whatever. There are usually a lot of exciting cliff hanger moments and explosions. Not so many explosions in Rocky but the others, there's always explosions." They purchases tickets before swinging by the snack bar where Wanda ordered popcorn, Skittles, and a Dr. Pepper.

It wasn't particularly hard to find the theater, since there were only three of them. The film was just as the formula had dictated and there were many explosions. Most of which seemed involve one person or another walking away from it and not looking back. Wanda explained that this was because it was cool to walk away from an explosion and not look back. She laughed during the film, a lot. When Tony and ( ... )

"About a year or so. Before that...not sure." He had had other things to do at the time. He listened to her explanation, nodding. He grabbed a cup of coffee when Wanda bought her snacks.

They took their seats, and he was happy it wasn't near full so they could talk during it. Movie physics made his head hurt, and he shook his head over the explosions. While some of them might have had that reaction, other times people where far too close to escape unharmed. He chuckled over Wanda's reaction to the kiss, but understood when she explained.

"I suppose they have to make everyone cooler for a movie?" He took her arm, "Want to grab lunch?"

"I know Tony's got a lot of issues but sometimes it's kind of hard to be charitable when he's frequently kind of a dick. He used to be in charge of the team but it kind of fell to Steve, that's Cap-... Captain America, when he started drinking. I'm sure there's a good guy deep down inside, just at the moment you kind of need a pick axe, pith helmet, and night goggles to find it. I hope he pulls himself together." Wanda sighed. Once upon a time, she had thought Tony was pretty damned cool. Then she had gotten to know him. He had a lot more in common with Robert Downey jr. at the moment than he would ever admit.

"Yeah, food would be good. I want a good burger. I haven't had a good burger in awhile... with pickles. Many pickles!" Her tastes changed frequently but if there was one thing she always liked it was a good pickle.

"I know who Captain American is." That one, at least, he knew. Finally.

"Just immature? I don't know anyone like that at all. He should grow up, in time." He knew one gifted rich kid who just needed to grow up - and had, quite well. Not that he would tell Xavier that.

He grinned. "Café then?"

"I'm probably not the best person to talk about other people's maturity." She wasn't sure she had ever grown up and she wasn't sure she wanted to. She rather liked the bubble world she lived in. It was sometimes dangerous but brightly colored and always engaging ( ... )

"I'm probably not either. Xavier and I are a bit prone to our own immaturity when left alone together and bored." Or, in thinking what he was planning with Kitty - when he was left alone and bored on his own.

He watched her as she thought, leading them to the café, wondering what she was thinking about.

Only to cough a little, somewhat embarrassed over the topic, her posing for a magazine rather than her body - he could imagine what the magazine was, if he didn't know which it was - rather than what she said. "It's all right. So...he's not afraid of either Captain America or Pietro...what about your father?" This guy didn't seem all the bright.

"Eh, Pietro gets mad a lot. Most of the people in the house know how to take him and when to just get out of his way. Steve gets mad at Tony a lot. Janet usually has to step in and mediate. She just called our publicist who explained to Tony that it might not be the right way to go with me, he just yelled at her and told her that he knew what was right for his team. He and Pietro, and Steve screamed at each other and finally I called Pepper who called him and told him he had an important meeting." She had a feeling that Tony knew it was a ruse to just get him out to calm down the situation but she was equally sure he wanted out without having to give in ( ... )
