I'm not receiving comment notifications from LJ, nor from IJ : (

And my gmail account seems to be working fine.

Happens to me all the time. I've been getting 20%of the notifications I should have been receiving.

I seem to be getting mine, for what it's worth, but I could well be not getting some and have not noticed.

Hope it's straightened out soon for you, in any event--not getting them is really annoying.

I've got the notification on your comment, so maybe it's working again. At least on LJ.
