So many countries spent so much money to send delegates to Copenhagen, and what's the result? Massive failure

I know. People seem to not realize that life has no Crtl + Z. In hours like these, it's a bittersweet consolation I have no kids.

Very true. But I'm still surprised that they had the trouble to put up such a circus for nothing.

It's so short-sighted to consider economic interests now. It'll be much more expensive to deal with the climate change if we don't act now. Yet our leaders seem unable to grasp that really very simple fact. I guess they are too afraid to lose the money support of the big companies that would suffer if an ambitious agreement had been reached.

I totally agree with you. Unfortunately, capitalism is short-sighted.
