It's over now: I finished the damn translation. Now I'll stop working on translations for some time to work on my MD dissertation. I can do it: I have a grant.
However... a friend of mine became the editor-in-chief of an important Brazilian publisher, and he asked me to contact him when I finished the translation I have just finished. If he really offers me something, I don't think I can refuse. I would be crazy to miss such an opportunity. If it really happens, I won't be able to do anything else besides translating and working on my MD dissertation. But if it doesn't happen, or if it takes some time, I may be able to write a bit of fiction, too. Perhaps 500 words a day...
There is this big project, the historical novel I mentioned in
my interview with Rainbow Reviews. I'm a little afraid to even think about it, because it's a project that will take more than two years to complete. So... I don't know. Maybe I should work on something lighter and smaller. Perhaps a sequel to
Clippings -- I have some ideas for it. Or perhaps something EVEN lighter and smaller. We'll see. First I need some time to rest and think things over.

So it's true: Amazon removed the ranking line from the "erotica" books, including the GLBT ones, and including my book,
Clippings.
In consideration of our entire customer base, we exclude "adult" material from appearing in some searches and best seller lists. Since these lists are generated using sales ranks, adult materials must also be excluded from that feature, says the Amazon "spokesman". Read more about it
