Hm. I don't think I actively make any fandom decisions. Things just start happening until I notice one day that I'm not reading as much fic in one fandom or I can't stop reading it in another. Or I notice that something has changed and it takes me some time to figure out what's different. *shrugs*

Though I agree that for those who do make such decisions, now is probably not the best time.

Hee, this is my first and only fandom, so this is a new experience for me. I usually like to make big decisions. I dropped out of university twice, I left three jobs... And I like making decisions, so I decided not to decide anything regarding HP fandom for now ;-). But I also made this not so big decision of concentrating on my original writing in the next days.

Hee! I always make life-altering decisions instantly. I've found when I dithered, I ended up over-thinking. I got married for the first time at age 33 after three dates with my husband. So far a decade later, it's still been a good decision. ;D Same thing with leaving jobs/buying houses or major purchases. I generally never give myself too long to think about things but rely on instinct. Not a perfect system, but it's worked well enough so far.

I usually discovered that I made fandom decisions after the fact. I think I was playing pretty exclusively in the HP sandbox for 6 months before I realized it was my primary fandom. *is slow*

But I think you concentrating on your original writing is always a good idea. ;D

Thanks! This was a big weekend. What with the importance of the 21st, I barely remembered it was my birthday! Not that important in the grand scheme of things.

I'm sure the decision regarding fandom will come to you. There's lots of time to decide.

Hee, I remember when PoA, the movie, was released in my birthday, two years ago. I was even more involved in fandom back then.

Wise words, friend!

I hope you have a wonderful year!

Hi! Though I'll miss your snarrys greatly, I am truly anxious to read your original story, I believe it must be a great one...and maybe your example inspires me to finally write something of my own mind creation...

Snape will always be an inspiration for me, and the Harry I wrote wasn't exactly the Harry that is in JKR's books, so maybe you'll be able to find a lot of them in my original characters. I hope you start writing original stories, too. You're a good writer. Unfortunately, we don't have publishers for the kind of story we write, so I don't know what to advise you.

Thanks for having such faith in my writing talent!^^ I've already written some original stuff, and have some dieas in mind, but they're all crazy ideas, and not all of them slashy... I have to focus more on it because I want my originals to be as pleasant to me as my fanfics are when I'm writing them... on publishers, I know what you mean, but I'll think on something, I always end up with some crazy solution in th end... ^^ I'm stil here waiting to read your original work, k? Remember I'll be first in line to buy your first book! *go, Ptyx, go!*

*G* So it wasn't that far back as I thought. Maybe I didn't notice because I didn't expect to see my name there. Ups.
