Feeling geeky! If you're like me and hate the fact that deleted tags are never deleted and comm tags keep appearing on your Semagic tag list, I have a not-so-perfect solution for you. It's temporary, but it made me feel better. Go to the Semagic folder on your PC and change the name of the taglist.txt file. Rename it as you wish. Then click on the "update" link near the tag box on your Semagic, and yay! You will have your true tag list on Semagic! Now you can delete the file you had renamed previously. (But if you miss your old messy list, don't delete the renamed file - just reverse the process and you will have your old list back.)

You will have to repeat the process whenever you want to get rid of the intruder tags, though.
