romantic relationships = confusing, painful, fulfilling, potentially destructive, ingratiating, loving, worldly, spiritual, disfunctional, passionate, learning, etc. blah. so many things. add another = complicated. attempted integration of two different social webs. chances of successful conjunction, very slim. chances of success when one of the key elements in successful relationships is missing, zed
friendship= (if you can keep it in your damn pants, this' probably the way to go.) although less fulfilling, friendship is less complicated, less stressful, and more likely longer lasting. plus no one get a major heartbreak if everything falls to shit. yay, we're all winners! (i think i just realized how incredibly pathetic i am) all things considered this is probably why more and more people try to have those casual "fuck-buddy" relationships. most everyone these days is too damn selfish to put the energy into something that could become meaningful and thus potentially hurtful. (yup, im pathetic) there are people out there (myself excluded) who are willing to put forth that energy, but they're so damn wierd about it no one wants to get near them (yeah matt, i said it)
did everyone just up and forget how to let nature take it's course? so much manipulation and deceit in our minds these days we can't let anything rest easy. "but it's too valuable to me to just let it be". you put your hand on the course of man but destruction is all your body understands.
