Thinking over my personal "spectrum" of feelings, for the purpose of representing moods with coloured marker on a chart, each day a small square. It's a thing I saw on the Pinterest, some years ago, and have been more or less keeping up with for three years. My moods don't feel like the colours people usually assign - yellow is happy and blue is sad, for example. This is WRONG because I LIKE blue?! By my spectrum, blue is calm, neutral. Turquoise is my very favourite, so that's happy! halfway between calm and busy, which is green. Busy days are good, but can wear me out. Yellow, for me, is the overwhelm of stress - like a cartoon lightning bolt going ZAP! overloaded nerves zapping unpleasantly to all the excess stimlui. Orange is to mark those times of intense distress, there aren't many. Red is a periodically recurring colour, but it is neither good nor bad. Purple is becoming the "blues" as most would refer to it - the lowest, below "meh" somewhere in numb apathy.
Am I re-learning emotions?
