Mid-Week Deep Thoughts

Some things to ponder:

1) Absent radical plastic surgery, I am unlikely to ever be satisfied with my body shape. This is part of the human condition. Therefore, I shall endeavor to not worry about it, and allow myself to feel that way. Then again, there is always liposuction for those problem areas.

2) Some weeks are longer than others, though they contain the same number of days. This is the paradox of time; time is relative based on motion and observation. For example, this morning has lasted at least 75 standard years by this point.

3) Protein shakes are uniformly nasty to drink. This is because they are supposed to be useful to your body. Anything that is beneficial in some way is legally required to taste godz-awful and repellent. Therefore, the only way to cope is to gulp it down as fast as possible.

4) If you want to keep your man, also learn to gulp it down as fast as possible, if you don't like it.

5) Gym motivation can evaporate without warning. This is why you accept that exercise is part of the purgatory of existence; it is better than burning in the fires of hell. So get going.

6) Life is better with donuts, but donuts can ruin your life. This is also true of men. Another paradox.

7) And lastly, grey hairs appear without warning in the oddest places. This is a sign of the clock ticking. Get off your ass and do something while you are still here.

Happy Wednesday from a gloomy NYC.
