Hot pants morning.

Cup of coffee and pants just out of the drier have improved my morning significantly.

Glug-glug-glug. But it still didn't do much to wake me up. I'm a little bit feeling sick and draggy still. This cold that keeps on colding.

Thinking of which, I need to see if I can get a measles booster if I need one. Gotta be a part of the immune herd if I can. And probably a yearly physical.

Older son, S., is doing better after tripping and hitting his head yesterday at school. No concussion. Just a scrape on his nose and a big forehead bruise. Cassidyrose picked him up early at school yesterday, but he's back today. Two of his classmate friends brought him to the teacher after he got hurt, so I had extra thanks to give them this morning. Good kids, good friends!

Tonight's Esperanto night at Stanford's free class, Trio's class. It's been going on a couple decades. A few long-timers attend. I figure I'm one of those now. And the occasional student shows up for a bit, at least as long...as Trio says...as the student hasn't figured out that they have no time for anything but their official Stanford studies. Then they disappear. Plenty of seeds sown; only a few sprout and grow big.

Anyway. The more fluent people are going to be reading V. Varankin's early soviet novel, "Metropoliteno" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metro_%28novel%29 http://cindymckee.com/librejo/VARANKIN_Metropoliteno.pdf . Varankin was involved in the revolution, but got swept up and disappeared in Stalin's terror in the late 30s. Mortpafita kiel malamiko de la ŝtato!
