I'm 18 in less than 2 weeks, crikey.
Somehow i'm not that excited. Maybe it's that i've been going to pubs (and bars when i'm feeling like a rapscallion) for a while now, and that I've been able to buy cigarettes for an ice age.
Maybe it's that work is insane and i've been getting in earlier and staying later recently.
All I know is that i've got good friends and a good girlfriend, so I should be more excited about being able to get drunk more or something. But i'm really not.
People said I wouldn't get over it til after my birthday. God dayum.
I guess i'll give it a week or something. I need a chill pill.
