Hm. So getting rediculously sick and missing the entire last week of high school.... good or bad?
I woke up on Monday morning with my throat insanely sore. I knew all I could really do was sleep so I took my pill and went back to bed. I woke up feeling really gross. I tried to drink some Powerade and then puked it up immediately. Puking with an insanely sore throat isn't the best feeling. Tried to go back to sleep again. Woke up at some point and realized how cold I was and how not cold it was in my room. Temperature was 102.3. My stomach couldn't handle taking anything so I just tried to sleep it off.
I've come to learn that Hell is a prolonged fever. Fevers do some crazy shit to you. I've never had more intense dreams in my life. I sincerely thought that I was going insane. When I woke up my head hurt so bad I couldn't walk straight and I really thought I was crazy after the dreams.
I finally managed to keep some Tylenol down and things have been getting better since then. I went to the Doctor's yesterday and got some antibiotics and she told me to keep taking the Tylenol as well. My throat is still really messed up and my neck is really stiff and my head still hurts if I move too fast, but I don't want to die anymore.
There have been a few perks though. For example I've rediscovered my love for popsicles and applesauce. Also, my mom is an INSANE germophobe, so she's insisted on waiting on me hand and foot for every little thing just so I'll stay in my room and not infect the rest of the house. Seriously anything I touch outside of my room she sprays down with Lysol immediately.
I also managed to watch the entire first season of The OC on DVD between yesterday and today. I definitely understand why everybody is so obsessed with it now. It's sad though because the first few episodes were SO good and then the show just got steadily and steadily worse with each episode. Worse as in just cheesy or downright rediculous. But I'll admit it is very addicting. And I kinda want to see season 2 now. Just to see what happens.
