Well. The game again didn't happen tonight, but 1) it looks like it will next week, and 2) I at least got to sit in on the anime club. :) This evening they were showing some of Blue Seed, Generator Gawl, and a third series whose name I already forget (I know, pathetic) involving wolves who can appear human (not werewolves, more of a mind trick ( Read more... )

The one with wolves -- might it be Inuyasha? I know some episodes in that had wolves with human forms.

Those three pretty good series of anime, from what I've seen and read and been told; did they show you them subbed, dubbed or what...?

I like Blue Seed simply because of the interesting concept of the Mitama's and the relation to the Orochi/Susano'oh/Kusanagi/Kushinada myth in Japanese mythology.

Generator Gawl kinda hits on my 'robots = good' tick, though I've never seen any of it. It's on my to-watch list, though, when I'm finished collecting some other series'.

Wolf's Rain's another one I haven't seen ,but heard good things about it. I'll probably see it, eventually, if trumpetgigs loans it to me, like she did Naruto. :>

Subbed. I didn't really see enough of Blue Seed to catch what was particularly interesting about it (just two episodes in the middle). Generator Gawl we saw the first three eps of, which unfortunately isn't enough to know the whole premise of (they're leaking it out at slow but tolerable rate), but it basically involves some time travellers from the future trying to stop a disaster that occurs due to some research while pretending to be students at a genius school (and I'm sure you realize that last part means that hijinks ensue ;) ). Wolf's Rain I unfortunately only saw the first episode of, but it does seem to show some potential. -- Pteryx
