I got my vertical labret pierced on saturday and I haven't had any problems with it so far until today around 10pm. Out of nowhere, my lip started GUSHING blood like nobody's business. Not like drip drip, but like when you turn the faucet on really low.. like streaming out of my lip. I applied pressure and it clotted, but then started up again a

ow ow ow! that's so crazy to have that happen! i do hope that you're doing better and i'm sorry that they had to take your piercing out. i wish i had some insight about piercings but the only ones i have are on my ears from way back when.

OMG Izzi! I hope your ok now...and that your mom isnt too worried about you. Although the doctor should not have treated you that way, she did in fact go to medical school. I wouldnt put it back in and I would clean the way she said to...its funny because I actually just finished reading an article on piercings and how 1 in 4 get infected and 1 in 10 can lead to diseases...blah, blah, blah...I dont know, you have had so many other piercings, I wouldnt bother repiercing the one place that gave you problems.

Oh wow =( I had my vert. labret pierced too, and it turned out crooked, I ended up having to take it out. Good luck, sugar, I hope it ends up okay.
