Mice + stress != learning.

I may have accidentally screwed up all of my Honours results due to the simple fact that I run behavioural tests using mice and I own a pet cat.

SOMEWHERE, SOMEONE OUT THERE IS LAUGHING AT ME.

currently trying to finish my discussion section which is due in about... 8 hours? IT IS LIKE PULLING TEETH. OR LIKE TRYING ( Read more... )

Dude, ok, how about: "When I turned 21, I was writing a thesis instead of drinking myself blind drunk." I think that would really only go down really well amongst Asians. Or the Big Bang Theory group. Mainly Sheldon.

Don't worry. It'll be over so soon and then you can go do crazy things. :D Like a bday party. *hinthint*

Dude, that's just. That's just sad. Also it would only go down well with Asian parents. "Hi Mr and Mrs Li, I'm not doing medicine but I spent my 21st birthday locked up in my room writing my Honours thesis."

Oh God, I only wish I had a Sheldon with me right now. He could write the damn thing for me in about five minutes. XD

Maybe. In November. XD

After telling you (in great detail) how worthless your work is relative to the Grand Unified Theory. Seriously, no.
Was Li a random surname? ;D OR IS THERE SOMETHING I SHOULD KNOW? 8D

Yeah, lol. November. I finish on the 24th so I expect an invitation to your 21st for anytime after then. :P

That's true. But that's okay. I'd probably end up staring at him with stars in my eyes for the entire duration fo his lecture anyway. And then possibly try to hug him. That'd shut him up. e_e
No no, just a random surname. Nothing on the horizon for me, 'tis as empty as the eye can see~

Pshaw. I'm going away soon after that, I might just have to leave it till January in that case. ;)

Oh yeah...that's right. Damnation! You'd better notify me of your return or I shall loiter outside your house until your neighbours call the cops on me. :(

You should leave out 'Honours' and just go with 'thesis.' That way, there's a greater chance of misunderstanding and they'll think you're some kind of prodigy, having completed your PhD at such a tender, young age.

Yes but that increases the chance I'll be involved in some horrid comedic farce where I have to go around pretending I'm a ~real scientist~. "WHY YOUR NAME NOT HAVE PHD ON THE END?*" "Oh~ you know, I didn't really want to flaunt it, I'm such a modest person ahahahaha."

*because all Asians talk like this
