(no subject)
aw I haven't been too active here lately >< been hanging obsessively around deviantART and faving and uploading and browsing constantly. I have been keeping up with the flist and reading all your entries though (sorry if I haven't been commenting much!), and I still love you all SFM. ♥
RL-wise, things continue to be A BIT AWKWARD at the lab, because I'm rather shy when I'm unsure of my welcome and it usually takes time for me to adjust to a new environment, especially one that's a little.. intimidating. (everyone is so freaky smart and competent and experienced, and I am in general very bad at .. being bad at things. does that even make sense, ahahah. perhaps too used to being a big fish in a small pond? :9) so I'll have spontaneous bursts of awesome sociability and then randomly get shy again. MY ISSUES, LET ME SHOW YOU THEM.
art-wise, I think I've drawn more in the past month-and-a-half than I did in the whole of 2007, or 2008. I'm actually thinking of properly studying art after this year, and hopefully making it my career. if there's one thing that's finally become clear to me, it's that I'll never be a good scientist unless I fully give up art. and since I will never do that.. I'll have to say goodbye to science. I won't really miss it anyway.
but this is early days yet, so we'll see.
in the meantime, here's an art dump of everything I've done since the last post. which is a LOT. @_@ I srsly drew one piece every day of this week, ffff. also, WARNING FOR LARGE IMAGES.
