Well it's off to Guangzhou tomorrow. I had a rollicking good time in Hong Kong which is, believe it or not, somewhat of a rarity. It's been freezing ass cold and I was poorly ass prepared for the weather. 1 fleeting glimpse of the sun in the 5 days we've been here. Lol you're now really working my memory. I'm pretty sure it's at Causeway Bay since it has to be walking distance from our hotel, and we went to Sogo after. If I had to take a guess, it's probably somewhere near Tsui Wah. But, my memory is foggy.

I'll be back at Causeway Bay after Guangzhou so I'll try walk around to find this particular place again if I can. Just for you princess ;)

Hey, well the one before wasn't Kau Kee. Though we tried Kau Kee and I do have to agree with Andrea that it's very good. However, it depends whether you like it soupy, or dry. Both the Kau Kee soup and curry brisket noodles were great, and make sure you order it with the flat noodles. The flat noodles are exceptional.

However, if you prefer it dry, like me, then I prefer the place I originally went to (edit: don't think I posted about that). Don't know the address exactly but it was opposite the Wing Wah Restaurant in Wan Chai specifically. I found the place on google maps so you could see what it looks like. Make sure you eat the brisket noodles with the dried chilli oil, it changes everything... IMHO :)

As for the place, specifically, that was in the post you asked about, I can't remember where that one was! It was completely random. Sorry! Hope I've helped at least a little bit :P

hi M,
agree with u Kau kee soup is really tasty. but like u I like dry noodle better :)
u r spot on about the HK chilli oil, it's TDF *salivating*
besides the noodle, that plate of crispy fish is another epic, it's so hard to find this delicacy in hk (maybe i'm just looking at all the wrong places hahah)
thanks a lot for the wan chai recommendation, will def try it out soon.
have a great trip :)
