Terminator me....
I've just had to terminate my first person today. It's not a nice feeling at all, even if the said person is a jerkoff asshole... And especially when it's a termination with immediate effect. I mean, I don't regret it as it's been a long time coming and he's really just brought it upon himself, but nonetheless I still wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. But he really left me no choice. I've counseled him, tried to reason with him, even tried to protect him, but no.... Some people just refuse to accept any accountability for their actions or there lack of.
I feel bad... not guilty, but sad. Doubly so now given the current economic climate as well as the fact he's getting married at the end of the year. But sometimes, you just can't permit a liability to stay on for any longer. Sigh... the poor bastard. I really really feel bad for him.... Hope he gets another job soon.
