(no subject)
so. its winter break. and it does not feel like it at all.
All other years, winter break has felt.. well cold in the first place, and it hasn't been very cold lately. And also, its felt needed, like i cant wait for winter break, and this year i'm kind of like yeah ill be home for two weeks, and then back to school for winter session. And I'm not dreading it, I'm actually looking forward to going back to school.
And im just crazily checking to see if my grades are posted every hour on the hour. Of course they arn't. There's always a glimmer of hope that they will be up there. See, i look at it two way: one, i can be presently suprised, or two i can get a grade i didn't think i was getting.. i hope its the first case.
So dana and I got home today at around 1245.. dana was nice enough to get me my final bagel with tuna from Newark Deli (but of course) and it was delish as usual. Oy vey, but after last night, and the drinking and the ordering of breadsticks and NOT getting honey mustard.. well i kind of had a stomach ache after the bagel.. so that wasn't so nice.
So for some random reason, when we got home, we decided that we wanted to watch my fair lady. I like that movie, but its way too long and i must say even though audrey hepburn was huge star, she was a little crazy in this movie (and in breakfast at tiffany's) and she had a teeny-tiny waist. Crazyness. Ughh but i love the end when he tilts the hat forward on his head, leans backwards and asks where his slippers are. Pure greatness.
So then I made spaghetti which was very good. Went to baskin robbins and got chocolate fudge ice cream which i don't think I will be getting again.. and dana, mom and I played scrabble.. for which i came in second place twice, and had a generally nice time watching tv and chatting.
Over the course of the next two weeks, we've already started a list of what we'd like to get accomplished. Let's see if it happens. In no particular order:
1. See Dream Girls
2. See Charlotte's Web
3. See The Holiday
4. See The Pursuit of Happyness (why is that word spelled wrong??)
5. Go out for Indian food on Christmas Eve
6. Go out for sushi with Jake
7. Have more cheese and crackers (dont ask)
8. Watch the Eagles win on Christmas Day and New Years
9. Go to Sephora with Katy
10. Find a job for school
yeah i think that's it.. so it should be alot of movie watching and eating.. sounds good to me.
