On becoming a grandma.........
My only daughter had her first born child, a little boy named Ashton. I am thrilled for her to know that she will have the amazing priviledge to become a mother and life will be different from here on out....as now there is a little person in her life that will love her unconditionally and that she can love unconditionally. My greatest wish is that she will enjoy every moment in this new life. It will go by fast. It has brought back many memories of my own little girl wanting me to pick her up and hold her, seeing open arms yelling out to me "mommy!". So many other things that hold a special place in my heart. I am so proud of how much she loves her son, how happy he has made her. I am so looking forward to seeing her and my new grandson, and my new son-in-law in about 2 months. I wish I could be closer to be part of all the new things that Ashton will do, but for now this is what I have and I am happy that Lynn is sharing this with me through pictures and many phone calls. I hope Ashton will know how much his grandma loves him.
