Had a long chat with Sarah and Heather about getting a doctorate in lit or rhetoric. I am starting to like the idea, especially the part about teaching at college. Not sure if the enthusiasm will stick, though.
Part of my motivation for considering something like this is my need to do something new, to bring some passion into my life again. I have been playing it so safe the past couple of years and I still feel miserable. I don't know if I can keep teaching. I need to find either a job I can do and then forget about each evening, or find something invigorating that also let's me be myself.
