That's a really cool story! I love how you make everything work with canon, and their bickering sounds so real. Also great how Jin keeps insisting and won't let Kame get away.

He does have stuff to do tomorrow, though it’s not exactly early-but he wasn’t planning on an all-night drinking session, which is what these things often seem to turn into. And he definitely wasn’t planning on an all-night Jin session either. (Which is the other thing they sometimes turn into.)

Apart from the lovely rhetoric, this really intrigued me because it was an early indication that there was an ongoing thing between them, even though everything else pointed in another direction.
