Thank you for writing this fic, mystery-author!
I liked the way Jin was super nice and caring in your fic.
I was sometimes surprised at how much Jin focused on thinking and not acting but it was interesting to read! Maybe that was what they needed. To take their time and think. And care ❤.

Here are some snippets from the parts I liked the most:

Kame looks tense, restless, almost as if his whole body is curling involuntarily around some emotion inside he is unable to either contain or let go.
Man I could picture Kame there.
Reading this was so touching and intense.

Either way is okay, he reminds himself.

When he feels the wetness seeping through the thick cotton of his hoodie, it almost catches Jin by surprise.
*sob* ❤❤❤ it's okay, Kame... it's okay ;__; *hugs Kame*

has enough alcohol in it to… ‘take off the edge’, as you’ve put it.”
Hahaha why would they "take off the giri giri'
The giri giri is who they are xD.

everything - from the warm yellowish light in the kitchen to Kame in these baggy sweatpants, preparing the tea - feels so overwhelmingly nostalgic that Jin has to shake himself to come back to the present from all those times he used to stand in this exact spot in the past.
Aww ❤❤ my heart tightened when I read that. ;__;

“They are there, you know…” he says softly. “The things that you are imagining. They’ve never really stopped being there at all.”
JIIIIN ❤.
Just like our feelings for KAT-TUN never stopped being there despite the hiatus, right?

let’s concentrate on the present and go on from there.”
I like this ❤❤.

Ahh... reliving those painful moments was... well it was a bit painful but Jin's gentleness was worth it. I loved the way you described him taking care of Kame, making eggnog for him.

I won't lie, the part where he said he was Catholic was kind of a big, BIG surprise for me, I never expected him to say that xD.

I'm glad I got to read such gentle scenes today. Jin in your fic is so sweet.
Thank you, author!

irl I got the impression Ueda, Maru and Kame stayed on very good terms, but this is fiction, and I understand the way their fiction-tensions went well with your plot. After all Maru really looked like he initially didn't want the hiatus.
Hmm. But let's focus on the Akame sweetness.
Because I can't deal with that pain again xD.
No More Pain, they said (lol. If they knew what was to come up later...)

Thank you for reading my fic, and I'm glad you liked it!

Well, this whole fic is in Jin's POV, and I firmly believe that we all think all the time, whether we pay attention to the process or not, even those of us who "jump first, think later" XD Besides, Jin here is a little unsure about how he can get close to Kame, which involves some additional thinking on his part.

reliving those painful moments was... well it was a bit painful
I guess, it was for me too, which may be, why I wrote it - just to get it all off my chest.

I won't lie, the part where he said he was Catholic was kind of a big, BIG surprise for me, I never expected him to say that xD.
Well, he amended it himself immediately, telling that he is not really the church-going type, but well, there is a kind of almost inbred westerness about him, which his Catholicism may or may not be a part of - something that stay on from the earliest childhood impressions perhaps? And I remember him making a sign of cross with his hand in a very habitual way before jumping down from a high place in one of the earlier concerts.

Yes, Maru's attitude towards hiatus was what I was relying on. In real life... well, I do not think they are close friends per se, but they do share good working relationship, but even in this case - the period I'm writing about here must have been full of tensions and frustrations for all of them.

Thank you again for reading my fic and being the first to comment on it)))))
