[Having not seen Constru around for a while, Sparkir had decided to go looking for her. He had the enhanced, auto-loading crossbow he'd made with him, since you never could tell when you might run into one of the monsters that prowled the grounds.

Turning a corner, he comes upon a sight that first makes his eyes widen in surprise, then narrow in anger. A very familiar duck has being held in the hands of, well, something that looked like a version of himself that had been experimented on. The strange double obviously did not have good intentions towards Constru, so he leveled his crossbow at the stranger, pulling the lever that loaded a bolt while using the built-in scope to aim right for his heart.]

Let her go. Now.

[Sparkir grinds his teeth at his double's words, but manages to keep his temper in check enough to avoid blurting out that she was really a person. The demon didn't know the truth about what Constru really was, and it was better if it remained that way. He kept the crossbow aimed at the other Fakir while waiting for Constru to make her way over to him now that she was free.]

My reason for caring about her fate is none of your concern.
