[ She gestured to the small heaps of snow that had piled and accumulated on the ground. ]
I haven't seen much of it in Kinkan before, so I wanted to go out and enjoy it!

...Right. You really shouldn't walk around in the cold, though.

It's fine! I have a coat so I'm not really cold or anything! And you stay pretty warm if you run around of bit.
[ ...And yes, she even demonstrates by jogging in place. ]

I'm fine! I just wanted to get out and see it a little bit, y'know? It's pretty and fluffy and the ground is all slippery!
[ She slid one shoe over the ground to accent the last word, but the foot slid further than she expected, sending the duck-girl off-balance in a matter of a second, arms flailing. ]

[He instinctively tries to grab for one of her wrists, but her wild movements are making this difficult.]

[Fakir wasn't able to finish his statement. Despite finally getting a grasp on her arm, her flailing was too energetic and he discovered that the slippery patch was also under his own feet. He felt his legs slide in front of him as the rest of his body seemed to go backwards and hit the snow.]

[ With Fakir's grip on her wrist, Ahiru could do nothing but wildly shake her free arm in some vain attempt to stop the inevitable--
And with a flop, she fell right on top of him. ]

[The snow was fortunately soft enough that he was injured, but the shock of it was enough to leave him cringing for a few seconds and not fully aware how Ahiru had landed.]
