Prop 8, locally speaking
I'd spent some time on YouTube watching some really cool, funny, and creative videos expressing why Prop 8 is a bad plan. Then I stumbled on this, quite by accident:
I am overwhelmed with new respect for San Diego's very conservative mayor. It's several months old, but I never heard about it before today. Maybe it's new to some of you too. It may not be funny or clever, but it's real. I found it very powerful and raw.
If this man can feel what's right in his heart, maybe others like him can break through their own lifelong fears and prejudices.
