Ah sweet mystery
So lately I have sort of gotten the short end of the lucky stick. Today that lucky stick completely broke! 2 years ago I ruptured a disk in my back, through acupuncture, pain med's and stretching, I got to a bearable place. Surgery was out of the question because arthritis had set in. I have been really lucky and my back has been very manageable, well until today. I didn't do any strange movement , just a simple pick up the file folder off the desk. Oy!
The burning strain I felt was not fun, nor did it go away after a few minutes. I came home from work and have had heat on it all day. It feels like I am wearing a belt with hot nails poking me in the back. Not fun..I am debating a trip to the emergency room, but I think I will wait to see what morning brings. The sad part? No more pain meds! I need to buy a better lucky stick. Perhaps I am getting pay back for the weekend? So far no vamps or faeries have shown up at my door!
