I can't take it anymore

I really can't deal with the gecko. I like the color in theory. I like the color as a color, but I can't live with it. And, since I'm the person using this room all the time, the gecko has to go ( Read more... )

I spent $64 on the materials. So, I'd like to recoupe that. They're not hemmed yet, and I can add a rod pocket if you like. I was planning on hanging them with rings. Right now, they could be hung with the clip rings, or rings could be sewn in.

Aw, sad. It is *really* bright though- brighter than it seems it should be.

You're not the type that gets into that parchmenty look, are you? Some brass splotching might dull it down enough.

However, that room would probably look good in a light sagey green color.

I'm actually not into the parchmenty look. I tend to like saturate tertiary colors. I just don't do well with greens and yellows. I thought htis color might work, and the Bodyguard wanted something pear like, so I tried it. I just can't deal with it. Yellows and pale greens give me headaches. The gray/green in my living room is fine, but that's about as green as I can go.

We went and got the paint today. It's "Devine Rain" which is a blue-gray.

Either a violet or blue based gray...or maybe a french blue of the blue-green variety.

I really like the idea of a french blue or even a gray blue. i think you might still be able to keep the curtains. could you use them in another room? they're so cool!
