I think I have the lamp situation covered, now.
My jadite mantra must have worked, because I am now the proud owner of this enormous jadite lamp. This, of course, leaves me with another conundrum. I now have the need for two obscenely priced lampshades from Anthropologie (the first of the two meant for the white blown glass lamp I acquired earlier last week). The lampshade pictured is actually earmarked for a mid-century modern floor lamp that I inherited from an ex-boyfriend.
So, it looks like I'll be shopping for lampshades in the near future. Lacking the target salary range of $250,000 per year that Anthropologie caters to, I believe I'll be paying a visit to either Khan's and/or the ginchy little shop next door to Khan's that appears to possess a vast array of candy-colored, fringed lampshade goodness that could make May West blush.
