so, when you pay a small amount for mediocre, bad, or questionable food, you accept a certain risk. on the other hand, when you pay a large sum for theoretically delicious and high-quality food, you expect that you will not be poisoned. naturally, these assumptions are unreliable, but there they are. today, the cheesecake factory hurt me. it hurt me badly, but quickly, and the ouchie seems mostly to have passed. please consider this a public service announcement of sorts. i have eaten the bus station chinese food many times, even with meat in it, and i have never had a problem. cheesecake factory? tried to kill me. erego, do not expect that price or fanciness of ingredient names has a direct correlation to healthfulness or non-toxicity. the end.
