I had the pleasure of going to a Christmas/work/birthday party Saturday night at a friend/co-worker/fellow Harley rider's house, it was pretty damn fun actually, even though I didn't know anyone. Just drank some beer and hung out and for once didn't get stuck talking about work all night long with my co-workers (which can get annoying). Anyway, on to the interesting part of the night. There weren't too many women per-se', except for one. She is a fairly attractive young lady, probably in her early 30s. Anyway, she broke the first ice because she recognized me from a golf tournament I played in in August, so after a 5 minute chat we finally figured out which tournament it was and where I'd seen her. Later on, keep in mind this is still new territory for me, I went up and started talking to her again. Well, bottom line is I talked to this girl for a good two hours about all kinds of things, mostly about her even. She's a lawer, which I found wicked hot, I'd never met a lawer before. I'm not exactly sure what else we talked about but it was pretty much non stop conversation for the full two hours. ABCs, Always Be Closin', ya, I missed the day in school where they went over C. I seem to actually be pretty good at A and B, but C is like a foriegn language or mental block or something. I let her walk out the door without asking her out or getting her number or anything. And I certainly didn't take her home. It's a good thing that last one didn't happen, cause I went chunder-bunny at about 530am that next morning, would've been awkward to say the least. I can't seem to get over that final hump, it's bizzare. I'm starting to think I've actually got a fair bit of game but I always, and I mean always, muck the winning hand.
So here I am, lamenting that I once again failed to pull the trigger. At least I'm having a great time in the process.
