March Month-in-Review

The Challenge

Goal 1: 3 hours / week on a personal project: So, as noted in my last month-in-review, I hadn't been keeping good track of this goal. Well, after I wrote that, I got myself a little pocket datebook/organizer/thingy and I've started keeping track of all my goals in it. Now I know what I did! In March, I made an Excel character generator for magus341's homebrew roleplaying game, and I started redesigning my Wikidot site (a lot of that work bled over into April, too, so you'll see me claim this project again next month).

Goal 2: 3 essays / month: I finished with days to spare! Think. Play. Learn; Three Wishes; and Mechanical Thinking Part Deux. Although I used up one of my "fluff" pieces in the Three Wishes post in order to fill out the three. I've got some more deep ideas swimming around my brain to share this month. I'd better come up with some more "fluff" ideas too, to write when I get tired of the "big ideas" stuff.

Goal 3: Lose 33 pounds / year: As expected, I sort of plateaued. I'm down 12.4 pounds from my reference at the beginning of the year, which is approximately the same as the beginning of last month. But Spring is here and anailia and I are discovering all sorts of walking trails very close to our new house, which we've been taking rather regularly the past few days. Hopefully we can keep that up. It'll help :-)

How was everyone else's March?
