I can belive how some parents are with their kids. Let your kid have the bloody batman (he rocks).
It's strange because when I was a kid by parents would let me have a girls toy if I chose it over a boy's one, and that was over 20 years ago. They never bought me a Barbie though, I never liked them untill I was in my late teens.
My little ponies,Care bears and strawberry shortcake I loved them and they never had an issue about it. I also loved all boys toys to, thats what probably confused tem. He He!
I guess I was lucky and had fantastic parents. Wish everyone did.
Anyway if their kid dunt like certain toys don't force them to conform!!!
One of my co-workers let her son play with anything he wanted to play with whether it'd be taking care of a baby doll or playing with Barbies or whatever when he was a little kid. She never told him he couldnt play with one thing or the other. He's grown up to be this really caring kid and she says that she thinks the whole taking care of the baby doll when he was a little boy might have helped shape his current personality.
I dont know but I also would like to think that that had something 2 do with it.
now that's funny! a mother FORCING her daughter to buy a bratz doll. i hate how parents try to inflict their sheeyet unto their kids. just let them get what they want. it keeps them honest. oh who am i kidding, i'd force my daughter to buy bratz dolls, too. hahaha.
I know right, how ironic. Normally you hear the opposite. I heard another little girl say oooh mommy look at the...and her mom cut her off quick and said we don't buy Bratz! It was mean, but the way she cut that girl short was funny. lol
I new that I was when I was a wee one but It didn't stop my Thundercats having girl friends. Do you really see Tigra and Panthro togeher. Hmmmm no, it was allways cheetara. And He-man and Teela.
Every parents biggest fear especially when it comes to toys are "what is ___ going to think if they see my lil Jessica playing with Batman toys?" In which we probably wouldnt think twice if a girl wanted to play with action figures. The roles would be way more reversed and understand if a 5 year old boy named Tayquan wanted a Winter Wonderland Sasha. How do you explain that to your boys Raheim, Jerome, Donnell and Marquiese in the projects and your lil boy got an orange hair black girl with big eyes and a skirt so high you can see her poom poom. I just say keep it simple. Don't get your kids toys...PERIOD. let them watch tv all their rotten life, like I did.
