I finally updated my ipod and started using it again, and I am enjoying it. Mostly because I have discovered what will probably be a new hobby of mine...Audiobooks. Sure, its lazy as all hell, but I been thinking. I can listen to it from my ipod, which is alot easier to be on a crowded subway with, than an actual book trying to turn pages and hold on too. Even walking down the street its easier. You cant walk down the street READING, you'll knock into someone, or someTHING. I DO need to pick up a book for a change, and this is the perfect way for me to do so.
I had downloaded Karrine Steffans "Confessions of a Video Vixen" back in July, but never actually got around to listening to it, until this morning, and I have been listening throught the day. Now I know I could be listening to more substantial literature, but I gotta start somewhere LOL.
This weekend was enjoyable as well, Me,
junasea,
sophistiphunk7, and AMY, who I havent seen in ages(we used to date during the period of time I was still questioning my sexuality) did a little shopping, then making our way to a quaint little Japanese restaurant over on St. Marks in the east village. The waiter was kinda cute too. lol We then headed out to meet up w/ Anthony and James for our usual after work Fri night drinks. It was WELL AFTER work, but we still had a great time anyway.
Saturday blazed by...Literally, and Sunday I met up w/ "S" again. It wasn't as "magical" as last Sunday but you could tell we both were happy to be with each other. He put his head on my shoulder as we watched Tim Burton's The Corpse Bride...which was to my liking.
