Fat Tuesday, and I end up spending it doing schoolwork (among other things) . . . sigh, such is life.
Classes are stressful and full of work and busy busy, but they're actually FUN! Well, maybe not fun . . . but interesting, at the very least. I talked to my adorable Dutch market research professor a few weeks ago, and he told me some of the things I should really be doing if I seriously want a career in market research. Most of them are done on the graduate level . . . but I am seriously looking into what I can do as an undergraduate to further my chances of getting the type of career I want. Coupled with the fact that Adam actually explained to me tonight what exactly "econometrics" is, I think I'm off to a good start . . . Sigh, there's always more and more work to do.
A few more days for to tote the weary load,
No matter, 'twill never be light
Speaking of Adam . . . he is coming to town to visit in about a week!! And staying for a full weekend!! It's been much too long since I've seen that boy, so I am understandably excited.
Highlights of my day:
Hanging out with Carolyn and eating her amazing salad and both of us buying grill pans! (And they were only $13 on Amazon . . . can't wait to get them in and grill me up a veggie sandwich! Or veggie fajitas! And how sad is it that I get so excited over kitchenwares now??)
Talking to both Chris AND Adam
Eating more and more of Matt's mom's chocolate
Feeling like I know the material for my MKT 460 exam on Thursday pretty damn well, and finishing the paper for my MKT 327 class over 36 hours before it was due
Being sore from working out (I actually DID something that was good for me--and as much as I hate to admit it, I think my mood is many times better when I work out that day)
Feeling like a million bucks because of my friends

You know . . . the downs ain't so bad when you have ups like today.
