Forensics meet: Got fourth in Prose ... didn't expect any better. Attempted to flirt with an amazingly cute German foreign exchange student. Saw a friend of mine from Elementary school. It was interesting. Jeanna got double firsts! Yay!
I couldn't find ANY cute sweaters, the only things left at Kohl's are baby colors (which I can't wear AT ALL) and really ugly monstrocities. Honestly, I don't mind if something is charmingly ugly, but these were just hideous. That's what I get for waiting for everything to be 75% off and never buying new clothes. Oh well, it's almost time to start wearing t-shirts again anyway. Maybe next Saturday will be better ... I dunno. All I did was go to Kohl's.
I did manage to find myself some seriously hot capris/pants. I have a dark brown pair and a tan one, and they're both amazing and comfortable. I've actually been needing pants too, which is the best part. Not just random buying! Oh no!
Next I need to get some flip-flops. My last pair died over the summer and are too disgusting to wear.
Not going to lie, I'm probably not going to get a cell phone for a year with the way things are going now. I just don't get enough hours to be able to pay it off with only my work money, and I don't have the wage to do anything with. It kinda makes me sad, but hopefully I can get a summer job. I'm going to start putting in applications again during spring break. I'll have to quit for marching season, but then I'll get a job waitressing somewhere after that season's over with. That and a laptop definitely comes first before a cell phone. At least, for me. But it's starting to become a problem that I don't have one ... *le sigh*
I hate money.
And I really hope that dark, rich, beautiful colors are back in next year so that I can get some gorgeous sweaters. Because I want something feminine and beautiful, just to change up my wardrobe a bit. I wear a lot of really masculine clothes ...
Tonight I've got to finish reading for English and I'm going to start clearing out my drawers of stuff I just want to get rid of. It's getting really bad. I have too many clothes. Oh well.
At least I've accomplished some serious plot-planning this weekend for NaNo. I'm just overflowing with ideas and a project that won't require too much research, but just enough to keep me busy with research over the summer. I think this is actually a plot that could get published, too. Which is very promising.
But now, I'm off to go make myself feel slightly better about my lack of beautiful new sweater.
