The first time they kissed, Harry kissed him. Hard. It hurt and stunned and was over before he realised Harry had stomped out the door.
The second time they kissed, it was mutual. Tender. It soothed and warmed every nerve in his shivering body.
The third time they kissed, Snape opened his mouth. Wet. It was wanting and burning and if those rough, warm hands didn't touch him soon, he thought he might die.
When Harry grasped the burning, wanting part of him, Severus thought he did die, but soon he was brought back to life... again.
