My beloved Molly Ivins, champion of liberals, is suffering her third bout of cancer. It doesn't look good. :(
I highly rec reading Becky O'Malley's tribute to her in it's entirety. It includes info on how you, if you so desire, can help continue her fight.
Addendum: Molly died this afternoon. :'-(

I've had a fever, been headachy, dealing with the trembly body aches, pleurisy, a wheezy rattly chest, coughing up nasty gunk for the last three days. I also have a lupus/fibro flare going with attendant difficulties. It's not pretty.
chazpure, bless her, didn't get this bug quite so bad and is already getting over it, since she has the mighty immune system. I'm just hoping not to end up in hospital.
To that end I'm cutting out as much stress as I can. So if you don't hear from me, that's why. Well, that and I can only sit up for a few minutes at a time before I get exhausted, so I'm in bed where I need to be for awhile. My sweetie, set up the laptop for me, but I'm mainly just sleeping and reading.
Fic recs and ebooks in text format are appreciated, if anyone has any. Maeve Binchy and Dean Koontz are my favourite writers, but I'll read just about anything. Please forgive my lateness in responding if you write, btw. It took me over an hour just to get this post done...
