I've been busy lately, with office work, as well as some freelance work. We both have been working hard so that we could make some extra cash for more shopping and sightseeing and good food while in Bangkok. It's quite a relief that we have our flight tickets and concert tickets sorted. We also have sorted our accommodation there. The only thing that we hope now is that it would be a really cool vacation for us both. I'm quite excited that we did the bookings and everything together. I'm very pleased with the hotel, coz it's not like the budget guesthouses I used to stay in Khaosan Road which are definitely gonna be busy with tourist. It'd be something different. Hope it'll be amazing. While we were browsing for hotels in Bangkok, she came across an amazing hotel, with very interesting interior wotnot, but I insisted we find a hotel with a swimming pool, coz I'm thinking of doing some swimming when we're there. Who knows, we might be tired of walking, and sightseeing, and we might just wanna chill in the hotel, so, a swimming pool seems like an extra deal for our so-called first 'honeymoon'.
It's also good to know that her parents are cool with us going to Bangkok together. They just hope that we'll be safe and all. Besides, her parents even offered to send us to the airport and pick us up when we're back. I'm also glad that, for the first time, she told me her dad wasn't even mad at her doing some freelance job with me so that we could get some extra cash for the trip. It might be because it's education-based kinda job, and her dad was an educationist before he started his own business.
Well, that's for a start, is good enough. We're planning to get a project for the company, which both her dad and sister are quite keen on to doing soon. I hope it'll come true someday that we'll be leading some projects like what I'm doing for the company I'm working for at the moment. I quite enjoy doing what I'm doing, but I could do more than dealing with office politics which I hate most when it comes to work. We'll see, with God's will, we might be able to handle our own projects in the near future.
By the way, I found an Indian Star Turtle near the lake behind my office. It was one of a kind (people keep it as a pet and its country of origin is ceylon). However, it's got a red mark on his shell underneath, which means, it must be a tortoise that one of the Buddhist worshippers let go to release his bad luck. I felt sorry for Ringo Starr (that's what we, me and my officemates call him) coz he's a kind of tortoise that does not live in water and he feeds on green vegetables and fruits. I was afraid that it'd get drowned or starved by the lake behind my office, and therefore I took him back. However, Romie is quite skeptical about him, that he might bring bad luck into our home. I didn't believe in that, coz I think what matters most is our sincerity. I took it in coz I want to let it leave, however, that night, I released Ringo after I've done some thinking. I don't want it to be connected to somekind of bad luck that may come into our home. We've been lucky so far, and our home is filled with love and good vibes, and I'm not planning to stir it. I hope this will last and good things will keep coming. On the other hand, I hope Ringo has found a good place for himself. I hope I've let him go at the best place he could ever be. I'll post some pictures of Ringo soon, for you to see. :)
