Mmm, rainy Sunday off from work = happy Greggy

To recap the last couple weeks:

New Years was a paradise of indulgence and hedonism...Bridget, you would be proud...Didn't drink too much this year but Smokey McPot made a grand appearance and freaked out some straight laced individuals in the process...Good times, though I wish I could've gone nuts over my potted plant again...It just wasn't in me this year...

My girls seem to be far more sexual than I remember them (good thing!), and I lusted after many a random lad in Portland (good thing!), but I had to deal with more ex's than you could shake a restraining order at (bad thing!)...

Thankfully the indulgence, hedonism and awesome company more than countered the drama of the ex's...And the food! My god the food! I've haven't enjoyed such a week of culinary delights in a long time...Hand in hand with that was the most entertaining meal I've had in a long time too, the country-club dinner with Gigantor's parents (best Long Island iced tea ever!)...

Which reminds me, Gigantor and Bling Bling, thank you so much for being the drivers and the innkeepers so often...I don't think I said that enough or even at all while up there, and I really should've...You guys are the greatest...

New roomie and I are getting along smashingly, far better than old roomie and I did...Which isn't a slam against old roomie at all, I love her to death and enjoyed living with her...But there's just something intensely comfortable about living with an excellent friend you've known for like seven years...And I'll admit, there's also something enjoyable about living with a heterosexual again (yes James, I'm referring to you, hehe)

::ponders for a sec:: Hmm, anything else to mention? Oh, saw Gangs of New York last night...Brilliant movie I thought, and the best soundtrack since Moulin Rouge (well, or maybe Two Towers, they're both excellent scores)...Saw Catch Me If You Can while up in Portland too, and god help me, but after that and Gangs last night, I actually respect DiCaprio as an actor now...What is this world coming to...

Operation Long Hair is progressing nicely, but it's in an awkward phase right now where it goes all wild and bushy like Groundskeeper Willie's if I don't tame the hell out of it...Debating dying it black in a few weeks as well...We'll see...

Think I'm going to go play Dance Dance Revolution for a bit and piss the neighbors off royally...After all, they deserve it for playing Toby Keith earlier...
