and miles to go before i sleep

I thought that, once I didn't have to go to school anymore and worry about homework and that sort of thing, I might catch a break and have some down time before graduation. Clearly I was wrong. Who knew so much could go into planning a simple graduation party?

My aunt has kind of went crazy with this whole graduation party idea. All I really was expecting was my family and best friend to come over (since my other best friend is having her party that day too, and my other good friend is going to be out of town), a nice lunch and then cake. That's it. But somehow we've been looking into all these decorations and party stuff that I had never even thought about, just because I 'have to have a nice graduation party! It's [my] graduation, it only happens once!' I'm actually glad the party is going to be a bit nicer than I first planned, but I'm constantly having ideas thrown at me and having to do errands, and it's a lot more tiring than I thought it would be. I'm beyond ready to get all this over with and start summer.

Speaking of which, the first week of summer (literally three days after my graduation), I'm going on my last houseboat trip with the high school youth group at my church. I'm not sure what to expect this time because this time I only have one sort of friend going and then my brother. Which is similar to my first year going (minus my brother), but that year I became best friends with one of my two current best friends, so at least I had someone to hang out with the entire time. And I'm not expecting the same thing to happen this time. Hopefully I'll have fun and get a tan and not be all awkward and alone most of the time.

Other things that have been going on: went to Disneyland/California Adventure a little over a week ago! It was the most fun I've had in quite a while and I really want to go back. The past two days I babysat my cousins and took them to a Craft and Wind Festival, which was fun but exhausting.

Until next time.
