Team Captain Blues
Today I have to go to Cabazon with my coach so we can find uniforms and golf bags for the season. That concludes the upcoming events of my day. I wish I was going to go and see Pirates of the Caribean, but my dad wants to go see it for his birthday tomorrow so I guess I can wait... just for him. I still haven't heard from Paneeta. Just because she goes away doesn't mean she has to not e-mail me. Oh well, she'll be back in a few weeks and in the mean time I will continue trying to get in touch with the rest of the team all of whom are on my bad list right now for not showing up to practice!!! They have to stick to their commitments and if they don't then I have no problem replacing them wth other people who will show up. It isn't even like we have a straining practice right now!!! In August it's going to be a lot worse and if they arn't around, they are not going to play in our matches. I'd rather take someone who isn't as good yet, but is dedicated than someone who's better and a slacker. No one can not practice golf and still play well. This is our year. We have a good chance of beating Paloma if everyone prepares and at this rate we'll be lucky to beat Hemet. Don't they get that? Maybe in my next phone calls to them I'll cut the nice out and dig in with an angry rant about the potential that is being wasted. Also, we do have an ongoing fundraiser and a large part of the team still has not showed up for even one part of it. As a captain I am setting the best example I know how, but it's just not enough when there is a non-existent motivation level. What else can I do?
